I live with my furry feline family in County Durham. I love to make things whether that’s sewing, crochet or baking. From being a young child (number six!) I always watched my Mam making our clothes and I was fascinated by her sewing and knitting machines. She taught me how to sew and crochet now I’m addicted to all forms of soft crafts. There’s always sewing, patchwork, embroidery and crochet projects on the go at home to keep my hands busy.
Anna
Anna started making her own clothes when she was 13 and hasn't stopped since. Anna loves hacking patterns as well as drafting her own to fit her style, and hopes to inspire a younger generation of sewists. She also loves English Paper Piercing and is never too far away from a needle and thread.
Bernadette
Hi, my name is Bernadette and I’ve been sewing since I was at school and working in the textile industry for over 30 years. I love sewing and teaching is my passion, I’ve also demonstrated on T.V. shopping channels, and I’m part of a very exciting new T.V. program to be aired in 2023.
Carrie
Carrie is from Derby and is a mum to two little girls. Carrie loves dressmaking and has created her own staple wardrobe. She loves sewing, crochet and a spot of baking.

Helen, AKA Daisy Lawn has been sewing since she was five. She loves embroidery hand and machine, tatting, crochet, knitting, baking and gardening.

Hi my name is Emma and I am obsessed with sewing of all forms. I taught myself how to sew at the age of 20 with small projects and my knowledge keeps growing every project. I love writing and have always dreamed of being a writer, when the Craft Cotton Company asked me to blog with them it was a true dream doing my two favourite things. Sewing helps keep me sane and brings me joy, this is why I love it so much.

I'm Emily born and bread in Yorkshire. I have been sewing since I was 11 years old. I love bag making and dressmaking. I'm a dog mum to Freddie and love anything Disney!

Gill is originally from the Wirral but now lives in rural Shropshire. She loves gardening, sewing and more recently, bee keeping.

Hi, I’m Helen. I starting sewing when I was in hospital as a challenge to myself. It was something I had always wanted to learn but had never had the opportunity to do. I love making memory bears, pieces for my daughter, anything non clothing and quilt related.

Hi I’m jo AKA Jo Bear. I started crafting many many years ago using different mediums but have settled with sewing as my favourite. I make bears as we know but now I’m having a go at dress making!

Katie is a lover of all things fabric and sewing. She has her own fabric store The Fabric Squirrel and makes lovely keepsake quilts. Katie lives with her family in Grantham.

Kimberley is a sewing blogger, author and fabric designer from London. She loves upcycling and patchwork and helps run an online sewing shop with her family. When she isn't behind her sewing machine, Kim likes to spend time in nature gathering inspiration for her next project!

I've loved sewing since I learnt to sew with my grandma on her knee operated Singer as a child. When my daughter was born I rekindled my love of sewing by making her dresses and learning more about fitting my own clothes. I now make most my clothes and have endless lists of patterns and projects on my 'to do' list. I just need more time to sew them!

Nicola lives in the Kent countryside with husband Dave and is mum to Josh. Nicola loves sewing in her crafty log cabin, Bobbin Cottage, gardening, baking and outings with the twins.

A self taught sewist, Mary-Ellen has a penchant for creating vintage inspired clothes with a modern feel. Paula, AKA The Crafty Lass hosts crafty events and workshops from her studio in Northamptonshire. She is a crafty 'Mummy' of 2 young boys, with 'Patch the Crafty Dog' and her Yorkshire 'The Husband'.
Sally B
Sally lives in Bucks and has been sewing since she was weeny! Learning from her Nan when she was around 4 years old. Sally also crochets, knits and is currently learning hand embroidery.

Stephanie is from South East Northumberland and has a mischievous border collie called Jess. Stephanie loves to sew, knit and attend ballet classes.
